Sims FreePlay: Multi-story Renovations Quest

Okay, so all of you guys must've known, there is a quest in the game that allows us to build upper stories for Sims houses. Well this is it! But really, sorry for popping your dream bubbles but the fact is crucial. We cannot afford buying lots of staircases and stories for Sims houses unless you have lots and lots of Simoleons in storage, which would take forever and frankly, most of the players doesn't have that 'forever'.

You are given 6 days (5 days 23 hours) at start to complete this time-sensitive quest. Complete it within given time to get the additional reward as an Elevators and Escalators pack. (Available on the Online Store if not completed in time)

Even if you don't finish it in time, you can still achive the main reward is the ability to renovate your Sims houses into multi-story houses. But still, be notified that the price won't be cheap!

Okay so here is the Task List:

Step 1: Build Community Center (36+ hours depends on your town value and the constructed buildings)

The community center would cost you a fortune and eat up your precious time. You are put to a very tight squeeze and rough decision at this very first step. Lots of pressure huh? Building this took me.. i don't remember, it has been a quite long time... about 72 hours? I used LP to instant complete this step. I am sorry to those who couldn't afford skipping.

Step 2: Send a Sim to Community Center (for celebration!)

Step 3: Talk to Wumples - the Swim Center bunny now has moved to Community Center (5 mins)

Step 4: Press look Upstairs - the button on the right top of the screen. Third button, after Zoom Button and Snapshot Button

Upstairs is a woodworking factory.

Step 5: Carve Magnum Opus (9 hours)

Use a No Hobby Sim to practice Woodworking with the Woodworking Table on the second floor. High chance you will craft a Pine Oakio - a living wooden doll. A common item in the 1st set of woodworking collectibles. So, this is a part that they will instruct after you craft Pine Oakio: The doll will run and attempt to escape through one of the windows and it's up to you to capture it. The Sim will chase the doll and ambush in front of a random window and you must navigate the doll to where your Sim is at by tapping it. Each time you tap it, it will run in a different direction, sometimes the same one and if you don't hurry it will escape and you will get nothing.

Step 6: See Wumples for Psychoanalysis (16 hours 30 mins)

The quest says your Sim is panicking because they just saw a living wooden doll. Okay that's a good excuse to cost us nearly a day for a mental therapy.

Step 7: Share Ideas with Wumples (4 hours 20 mins)

Geez, those Sims has great IQ numbers.

Step 8: Call Home Store Hotline (14 hours 6 mins)

Use a Home Phone to complete this step. I think you can make a Sim do this step while the other Sim doing step 7. Approximately 4 hours 20 mins will be shorten. That's if this option were available before the quest comes out.

Step 9: Browse Internet on a PC (4+ mins)

Step 10: Bake Banana Bread (20 hours on every oven)

Oh dear that's a shock.

Step 11: Check Email (30+ seconds)

Step 12: Craft 1st Set of Woodworking Items (Depends on luck)

This task would take you forever! If you are lucky, you might craft 2 first item of the 1st set in 20 minutes or maybe 1hr. Pine Oakio was counted as the first (achived above) and now two others must be attained.

Step 13: Creative Chat with a Sim (12 hours 30 mins)

Click an another Sim and you should see ' Creative Chat '

Step 14: Call Home Store Hotline on a Phone (14 hours 6 mins)

Okay, so this is a point that you can shorten a huge amount of time if you think wisely. While a Sim started creative chatting, you can go to an another house lot and make a Sim call Home Store Hotline on a phone. Then, when the other finishes Step 13 after 12.5 hrs, Step 14 will be count as active. Go back to where you make the other Sim call Home Store Hotline and use only 1 LP to instantly finish the task because that Sim was calling Hotline the whole 12.5hrs!!! Tada!!

Step 15: See Wumples for Psychoanalysis (16 hours 30 mins)

With this step, i think you can make a third Sim do it while the 2 other Sims do step 13, 14. But i don't know if you can do it action when the task haven't been available. I don't remember.. But trying won't kill you.

Step 16: Have 3 Sims dancing to a Stereo (1+ min)

>>>>>> QUEST COMPLETED!!!

>>>>> ALL PRIZES ATTAINED!!!

Okay guys, so doing all those steps won you the ability to renovate Sim' house!

But.. I have to annouce this bad news. To build the second story for one house, you must pay approximately 1.000.000 Simoleons and, the third story will cost 2.000.000 Simoleons.

Also you must place a staircase on the first story to move up to the second, and place one staircase on the second to move up to the third.

The basic staircases: Creaky Staircase, Sturdy Staircase and Fancy Staircase. Prizes from 50.000 - 90.000 Simoleons.

Sad news huh?

Good luck, Rachel <3

Sims FreePlay: An Alien Concept - Weather Machines Quest

Hello guys Rachel here and i am thrilled to post this Task List for the interesting quest: An Alien Concept - Weather Machines.

You are given 7 days (6 days 23 hours) at the start, this is a time-sensitive quest.

Complete the quest in time to get the additional reward as a Winter Clothing pack for Costume and Swim Store and Winter Accessories for Sims' Wardrobes. In my opinion this additional prize is great and i have to tell you guys these clothes are perfect for Christmas occasions and for Snow Park skating.

The main prizes are: Access to Snow Park, unlock Weather Machine in Home Store to change the weather in every way you want. But remember, the weather machine only works on the house lot you placed it. E.g : If you bought the weather machine for Justin's house then make it snow then snow will fall but you can only see it falling when visit Justin's house only.

Okay here are the tasks:

Step 1: Search for UFOs in the park (1 day)

This step caused a big shock because it took a whole day. We lost a day in total of 7.

Step 2: Be nice to Osiris (the alien) (1 min)

Get a Sim to be nice with him and use that Sim whenever there are task that ask you to interact with him. They will bond and make it easier to be friends.

Step 3: Become friends with Osiris

When i got this, the task was marked complete when i exited the Tasks menu. So i think you just need to be Acquaintance with him at the moment. Or it's a glitch, i dunno.

Step 4: Go to the Park (marked as complete with there was already a Sim at the park)

Step 5: End is Nigh on a Soapbox (12 Hrs)

Don't be shocked though. This is not worthy of a shock.

Step 6: Become Best Friend with Osiris (repeat 'Be Nice')

You could make a Sim be Best Friends with him while an another is doing Step 5, that way the task would be marked as complete right away.

Step 7: Browse Internet (4+ mins)

Use 3 star (PEBKAC Pro Computer) computer to decrease the time.

Step 8: Be Nice to Osiris (1 min)

Step 9: Spend 16000 Simoleons on Electronics

Purchase some Electronic stuff for Sims on Home Store.

Step 10: Bake Croissants (18 Hrs)

You see? Told ya not to be shock before.

Step 11: Negotiate with a Sim-Eating Plant (3 min)

Plant Lettuce (45 mins) by using a few Sims. One or most of them must meet the Sim-Eating Plant.

Step 12: Read Fine Literature (12+ Hrs)

Use a 3-star bookcase.

Step 13: Warn Simanity on a Soapbox (1 day)

I know what you are thinking LOL.

Step 14: Make Herbal Tea (2 mins)

Step 15: Watch a Movie Marathon (8+ Hrs)

Use a 3-star TV.

Step 16: Be rude to Osiris (1 min)

Use a Sim that haven't build a relationship with Osiris. You wouldn't want a friendship needing fix.

Step 17: Woo-Hoo (5 mins)

Make a couple Woo-Hoo.

Step 18: Deep Sleep (6+ Hrs)

Use a 3-star bed is recommended

Step 19: Buy a World Globe (10.000 Simoleons)

The ones you bought from before doesn't count. Or at least that's what happened to me.

Step 20: Plot World Domination (10 Hrs)

Step 21: Be Funny with Osiris (10 secs)

Step 22: Play Electronica on a Stereo (1+ min)

>>>> QUEST COMPLETED! ALL PRIZES ATTAINED!

This quest is not a tight squeeze if you start right away when the quest comes and follow my directions. So i am certain that most of you guys would achive the additional prize.

Hope it helps and sorry if there are any wrong informations, everything above are correct when i was doing them. If you have concerns or issues, comment below and I'll answer them ^^

Happy Simming!

Sims FreePlay: Preparing For Preteens Quest

Okay guys, this is it, the Preparing For Preteens Quest Guide. I am so excited to post this on my blog, because this quest is a very important one. Completing this and you will have the ability to age Toddlers into Preteens, also you can adopt Preteens via Home Phone and pay with real money. Though, there are no additional prizes and time limits, and adopting Toddlers, Preteens is not recommended because eventually they will automatically age when you complete the ' Life Dreams and Legacies ' quest at level 24+

I have a very specific strategy for this quest to prepare for the next one: An Alien Concept: Weather Machines. The next quest would be really long, takes so much work and have incredibly encouraging additional prizes. We wouldn't want to miss it!

Here you go!

• Step 1: Build Sim Town Elementary School

Building this would take approximately 27 Hours and 20.000 Simoleons. You shouldn't be worried ^v^

Step 2: Purchase a Study Desk

A 2+ stars study desk is recommended because it would help you too boost up later progress. Place it in your Toddler's room.

Step 3: Purchase a Preteen Bookshelf

Again, 2+ stars bookshelf is recommended because you would have you use this later and a 2-star rated one has much shorter times than basic ones. Place this in Toddler's room as well.

Step 4: Read Harriet Putter (3+ Hrs)

It's Harry Potter in our world (haha). Using a 2-star bookshelf would shorten the time. Like i said.

• Step 5: Read 'Everything You Need To Know' (18+ Hrs)

• Step 6: Buy a Preteen Bed

It doesn't matter even if you buy a 1 star bed. It's just a one-person bed. But the fun thing is, Preteen beds was placed in the 'Preteen' section but Toddlers, Teens and Adult can use them as well.

Step 7: Buy a Trampoline

• Step 8: Celebrate Trampoline (4 Hrs)

As far as I've known, every trampolines requires 4 Hrs of celebration. There are no star rates.

Step 9: Bake Gingerbread Sims (6 Hrs)

This is easy right? It wouldn't take much. I suggest you cook this through, do not use LPs. Like i've said, no LPs should be used for this quest. It would be such a waste of currency and frankly, you don't need to achieve any additional prizes so what's the rush?

Step 10: Bake Cookies (1 min)

Get ready.. Don't be shocked...

• Step 11: Talk to the Thinking Man (1 day - at the Park)

I didn't know there would be a plot twist! It's just upsetting! Anyways, 'talk' here means Ask Advice. The option was a part of the Love Is In The Air quest in the past.

Step 12: Be rude to Thinking Man (1 day - at the Park)

Okay.. So this is what we couldn't expect. But don't you worry, there is only one step away to victory!

Final Step: Play Sims on PC (30+ mins)

Congratulations! You've reached the very last step! Now sit back, drink some hot tea and wait for your Sims to finish their joy or use LP to fasten the progress, though it wouldn't be necessary.

>>> You've unlocked the ability to age your Toddlers into Preteens!

>>> Access to the Adopt Preteen option via Home Phone available!

And don't forget to check out the next Task List for An Alien Concept: Weather Machines quest!

Happy Simming! ^v^

Sims FreePlay: Mansion House Overview

Okay so as you all have known, Sims FreePlay has a various choices of Pre-designed houses and one of them are the One-story Mansion. This is a beautiful house, and one of my most favorite house. In addition to its beauty, we will also get a Luxury Car for free which is from the Car Dealer. It costs 80 LPs to purchase. So it's a great deal.

If you have saved enough money and planning to purchase a house, i honestly suggest purchasing the Mansion. I will provide some pictures of the house below.

Sims FreePlay: Life Dreams Update Review

Okay, so the update has been released yesterday and i have checked everything out.

I will have a serious, no mercy and truthful review here.

Chapter I: Designs

Okay, so i am satisfied with the design they gave us in this update. I like the new outline of the Sims in Simtracker and the new Houses menu. All well-polished and perfect design. That's what EA's good about.

Chapter II: Speed

After the update, when i enter the game, it has glitches and quite slow. I am not happy with that. But luckily after 3 times entering the game, the fast speed returns and it was a relief cause the last thing I'd want is lag and glitches. So i forgive this small flaw.

Chapter III: New quest

Oh my god. This is insane. I can't believe this is happening. For the last 2 days i have been jumping around to check out the Life Dreams and Legacies goal but when it came out, i was like " Are you kidding me b-atch? " I am greatly disappointed with the quest they gave me and the only thing i am satisfied about this whole crappy mess is the personalities and the Beach, Game Arcade unlock. Let me give you a clue. They dare to force us sacrifice a Sim right after a few goals of the quest! I mean, why? Should i throw away the Sim i hate most? No! Because i hate no Sim! I can accept them dying slowly but not right now, come on!

Okay, okay. I have calmed down now, i am peaceful inside now.

The other thing i am angry about is the time limit of the quest. Another close call. 7 days. A week. Lots of work to do. And they gave us an additional prize that is so precious that i would curse the hell out of my life if i miss it. It is the Singing Salmon. Helps inspire a Sim instantly after hearing it sing.

I am close to complete the goal (i use LP) and will blog about it very soon. So stay tuned guys.

Chapter IV: Judge the update

The most important part is the judgement of the players. For me, i would give this update a 5.5 out of 10.

That means, according to the Rachel Chart, the update will be rated as:

   Unsatisfactory - Burned Cupcake

A burned cupcake, everyone. The cupcake that most people would throw in the garbage bin.

But after everything, i still hope that the next update would be something very hip and has to satisfy our demands. If that's the case, i would rate the next as Three Tier Wedding Cake

Okay, so that's it for the review of the Sims Freeplay Life Dreams Update. I hope you guys enjoyed it and don't forget to check out the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest Guide when it's posted!

Sims FreePlay: It's All Going Swimmingly Quest

Okay, so, today i am going to tell you guys all about the It's All Going Swimmingly quest which should be unlocked for Level 12+ players. Complete it within the time limit to get the additional prize as a Volleyball Net for the House Pool which is going to be unlocked as the main prize. (It's almost impossible to complete the quest in time if you don't use a bunch of LPs ) Also you can unlock the new hobby diving. Underneath are detailed steps of the goal, hope it helps. Thanks for reading!

Step 1: Build the Swim Center.

This swim center, ugh, i don't know what is so special about it but it costs 100.000 Simoleons. And 36hrs of construction time! And you must have 10 Sims!

Step 2: Get 4 Sims to visit Swim Center

Step 3: Admire the Pool Slide.

• Step 4: Look Apprehensively at the Diving Board

PLOT TWIST! 12Hrs to look at this diving board. Oh come on!

Step 5: Hide in the Swim Center toilet

EXTRA PLOT TWIST! Hiding takes 1 day and do you know how much XP we get? 1!!!

Step 6: Ask advice from the Wumples the Water Proof Bunny

You know, the bunny kept dancing in front of the Swim Center. It takes 8.5hrs, so just use LP if you can.

Step 7: Supervise the pool from the Lifeguard Chair.

Easy! Supervise takes 8 minutes but your Sim just have to sit on it then the goal will be complete.

Step 8: Use the Diving Board

Okay, so your Sims is comfortable enough to use the Diving Board. Let your Sims have a 4 min Brief Leap.
After completing the goal, you will receive a Sim Tsunami medal to add in your first diving medal set. And that Sim will have Diving hobby to!

Step 9: Find 1st set of diving medals.

You must make that Sim keep diving until you collect enough 3 diving medals. You have one from the previous goal, so now you must do a 1hr dive. You will then have the next medal in your collection. And afterwards, do a Disciplined Dive, takes 9hrs and then you will gain the last medal and complete the set, and the goal. Not only that, but that Sim will level up and gain 750 XP bonus. Remember, use only the Sim that you used to complete step 7 + 8 to complete every step from here.

Step 10:  Look Apprehensively at the Pool Slide

NO! PLOT TWIST! Your Sim now wants to play the slide! AGGGGHH! It takes 16hrs!

Step 11: Use the vehicle from the Swim Center parking lot.

Okay, so i am getting really upset. This step takes nearly a day, 22 hours and 30 min!!

Step 12: Be nice to a Sim

From this step, things will get less bumpy. So don't worry, the stressful times are gone, and rest assured that you are going to unlock pools soon.

Step 13: Cuddle the cat in Swim Center

A very cute cat will appear in the Swim Center and it would take 2hrs 30min to cuddle it. Use LP to boost up the progress.

• Step 14: Give direction to the cat

It would take 9hrs and 30min to give the cat directions, so i would have to repeat that using LP in the previous step is really recommended.

Step 15: Use the Pool Slide

Okay so using the Pool Slide would take 3hrs and 30min, so if you are capable of using LPs then use them.

Step 16: Splash a Sim in the pool

• Step 17: Flip a Sim in the pool

• Step 18: Chat to a Sim while in the pool.

• Step 19: Ask Wumples (the bunny) for advice (10min)

Step 20: Ask Wumples for advice again ( 1 day)

• Step 21: Use the Slide

Okay, so this is the last step of the quest. Completing this and you should unlock the pool in Home Store. It would take 3hrs 30min to complete this action, so i call this the final storm before... a new one :))

Okay guys so that's it for the It's All Going Swimmingly quest and i hope this helps. The new hobby diving should be unlocked and it presents some neat loot! Comment below if you have any questions or issues, i will answer them as soon as possible. Don't forget to check out my other posts and the Preparing for Preteen Quest Guide when it's posted.

Sims FreePlay: Life Dreams Update Reaction

Okay, so, i have heard about the new update which is coming this Thursday, March 13.

If you haven't heard about it, then.let me give you a quick summary.

The Life Dreams update is all about adding new contents to the game. If you are Level 24+ , you will receive a new batch of goal named " Life Dreams and Legacy" when the game is updated. Complete it, and you won't have to bake birthday cakes to age your Sims anymore because they will automatically age, a little bit each time they complete an action. When the time comes, they will be visited by the Grim Ripper and move on to afterlife, leave behind 10000 XP bonus or more. Also, personalities will be back with Sporty and Geek. You can unlock the Beach and Game Arcade, using Life Orbs, achieved by completing your Sims' dreams.

Okay, now, the reaction.

A week ago, when the game noticed me of an upcoming update, i rushed to the Facebook page and dig up some precious information. I was upset, happy and anxious at the same time. I was like "Oh hell to da no! My Sims will die? They will like, DIE? How? When? WHY? "

After a few minutes going Nicki Minaj crazy, i knocked some sense into myself and thought: Hey, that's life. I mean, The Sims game is life-simulating. We can't avoid death. And plus, if you played The Sims 3, you would feel this is normal, cause Sims in TS3 die way too easy.

So eventually i decided to be positive and think of the new features i could unlock. Beach? Game Arcade? YESSSS. Aging without a birthday cake? YESS!

I was anxious for a week now and i can't believe the update would be like, friggin' Thursday! I am as excited as Katy Perry stuck in Miley Cyrus' wrecking ball!

Okay, so that's the end of my short reaction and i hope y'all feel wat I feel, anxious and happy.

Xoxo, Rachel E. Jenkins with her husband Remi who is cooking breakfast for her (nice job sweetheart!! <3)

Okay guys so that's it for my long list. I am sorry if there are any inaccurate informations. And really sorry because so far i haven't provided enough links to all quests, cause i didn't post those Task Lists. But don't worry i will start working right now and you will have detailed steps of these tasks soon!

P/S: The quests with additional prizes are time-sensitive quests which have a certain time limit given to achive the additional prize. And for the main prizes, you have all the time you need to achive them so don't worry.

Happy Simming!
